PHALANX supports 1D and 2D barcodes to let technicians quickly identify equipment, work and locations using the in-built mobile device camera or a third-party Bluetooth reader.
Wave and Walk Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags
Passive RFID tags are more rugged than barcodes and can be attached to equipment being in used in challenging environments (where barcodes are quickly scraped off).
PHALANX RFID tags can be read natively by modern Android and iOS devices, with no need for a third-party reader.
